Bella's Lullaby

This scene was really sweet, as the song is being played by Rob Pattinson himself.  He really does play the piano.  He is as he says himself, a musician first.  At the begining of this scene, the song also plays along a great part where Edward takes Bella up into the trees, where they talked innocently and laughed so intimately.

I guess you could say it is the love theme of this movie.  It is played throughout the movie at the most tender moments of their tension-filled romance.  You hear the melody first when he secretly watches Bella sleep after he saves her life and she begins to wonder, who or what he is.

The next scene you hear it in is the big reveal...Bella confronts Edward and says "I know what you are." Edward says "Say it, Out loud, Say it! and Bella says "Vampire"  Edward-Are you afraid? Bella-No. Then for the first time he shows Bella his vampire  abilities.  He carries Bella on his back and races to show her in the sunlight what he looks like.  Followed by an  intimate and engaging talk about the "lion that fell in love with the lamb", Bella being the stupid lamb, Edward being the sick masochistic lion. While Edward reveals he is this dangerous monster made to kill humans like her for blood, Bella is even more entranced with Edward. Then, the great introduction to the meadow, where Edward and Bella gaze at eachother while laying in a lovely flower-ladened grassy area,  all along to the beautiful soundtrack, Bella's Lullaby.

 

Decode  by Paramore( The Official Video) This music video includes footage of the Twilight movie.  It was written especially for the movie and not played during the film, but after.  It is the last song played during the credits.

 

 

Claire de Lune by Claude Debussy   This song is only in the movie, it is played in Edward's room when Bella asks to see what he listens to and as they try to dance together.  Edward tries to twirl Bella in an attempt on dancing but Bella doesn't dance, she can't.  This brings up the clumsy, vulnerable issues Bella has, which play a big role in the hero-victim  theme. 

Eyes on Fire by Blue Foundation   Only bits and pieces of this soundtrack are used throughout the movie.  When Bella is back at school and she wonders where Edward is and wonders why he doesn't show up at school for days.

 

Flightless Bird, American Mouth by Iron & Wine  This soundtrack plays at the prom in the end of the movie.  They dance together and discuss her yearnings to be a vampire with him.

 

Full Moon by Black Ghost  This soundtrack is played in the begining of the movie following Bella as she moves from sunny Arizona to Forks.

 

 Never Think by Rob Pattinson This soundtrack is played in the background while at dinner in Port Angeles.  Edward begins to slowly share himself revealing that he can read people's mind, everyone's but hers.

Spotlight(Twilight Mix)  by Mutemath   This soundtrack plays when Edward and Bella arrive at school together, exclaiming to their world that they are together.  They walk in together, Bella in Edward's arms as they are in the spotlight.  It also is played in the forest when Edward explains to Bella about being a vampire  and his family history.

 

Let me Sign by Rob Pattinson   This song is not on the soundtrack and is only found on the itunes album.  This soundtrack is definitely a favorite.  It plays after Bella gets bitten by the bad vampire James and Edwards tries to save her.  Edward says to Bella, "I'll make it go away" (the pain, he means) then he starts sucking out the venom.  In a frenzy, Edward battles between his hunger for her blood and losing her forever.

New Moon " The Meadow"

The Meadow is the highlight of  the Twilight New Moon Movie.  It is also the love theme of this movie.  It is played when Bella seeks out the meadow, where they have spent much time together.  She wants to go there to feel Edward  close again.  She misses him terribly.

Done All Wrong by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club   Done All Wrong is played after Bella finds out about Jacob, him being a werewolf, as she meets Emily the wolf girl.

Roslyn by Bon Iver and St Vincent   Roslyn plays while Bella prints pictures of Edward and her together.  It plays when she is being bandaged at her birthday party after the incident. It plays when she feels the absence of him the next day when he doesn't show up in school.  And it is also played as we see Edward in her bedroom.

Satellite Heartby Anya Marina This soundtrack is played while Edward drives Bella home after her birthday party.

Slow Life by Grizzly Bear    This soundtrack plays when Bella is drowning in the ocean and Edward's  image appears next to her.
